The Jozankei Onsen Snow Lantern Path is a magical winter event held at Jozankei Shrine, Sapporo. From January 25 to February 1, 2025, the shrine’s grounds will be illuminated by 1,000 handmade snow candles, crafted by local residents. This enchanting display creates a warm and serene atmosphere in the cold winter season. Visitors can enjoy participating in a photo and video contest with exciting prizes such as accommodation vouchers. A complimentary shuttle service will operate between the Jozankei Onsen area and the shrine, ensuring convenient access. This is a unique opportunity to experience the charm of winter in Jozankei Onsen.
